This is the 2nd iteration of Dremel's 3D printer, suitable for beginners and experts alike. With lifetime support and a one-year warranty from Dremel, the 3D40-FLX is perfect for daily use. Its removable build plate allows for easy removal of printed models, while its user-friendly features and quick set-up allows for printing within minutes.
Flexible Build Plate with ergonomis handles and a magnetic Snap-On mechanism makes build plate and print removal easy and fast.
Automated 9 Point Leveling sensor detects any variation in the print bed and automatically accounts for it for more successful printing.
Fully Enclosed Housing improves print quality, reduces warping, cracking, and VOC emissions – all in quiet operation.
3.5" Color Touch Screen makes it easy and intuitive to navigate and operate the printer functions and settings.
Extruder Designed for Reliable Printing
The 3D40-FLX is powered by a direct drive, all-metal extruder that is clog-resistant and provides seamless 3D prints. The extruder can reach a temperature of 230°C and includes a built-in detection feature that pauses and resumes printing when new filament is added. Additionally, the extruder head contains an automatic Leveling Sensor for precise leveling and increased printing reliability.
Chromebook and iPad Compatible
Along with a desktop slicer, Dremel also provides a cloud-based software platform that is compatible with all mobile and desktop devices through an Internet browser. The use of dedicated cloud servers guarantees fast and stable performance on a variety of devices, including mobile, desktop, chrome books, and iPads.
Network Friendly and Fast Connectivity
The 3D40-FLX 3D Printer is equipped with Static IP, Proxy, and dual 1GHz processors for fast and reliable cloud printing. It can be accessed via LAN, Wi-Fi, or Cloud, and offers features such as user access management and print history viewing through the Administrator portal. The Advanced Fleet Management software allows for user access level settings and data collection, while also enabling sharing of printers with remote users in different locations.
High Resolution Printing
The Dremel 3D40-FLX is a top-performing printer that provides exceptional resolution, capable of printing with 50 Micron (1/20th of mm) layers and up to 300 Micron in thickness. It features high-quality components and has undergone extensive internal safety and performance testing by Bosch (800 hours) and third-party UL certification.
